THE TURKISH AMERICAN CULTURAL SOCIETY OF NEW ENGLAND, INC. (TACS), founded in 1964, is a non-profit, charitable, grass-root organization whose primary goals are to promote Turkish culture and heritage; to bring together the people of Turkish heritage and friends of Turkey for promoting Turkish history, culture, and related issues; to assist people of Turkish origin in solving various community and personal problems; to welcome and assist permanent residents, visitors, and students arriving from Turkey. In order to meet these goals TACS organizes conferences, seminars, concerts, exhibitions, as well as educational programs on Turkish culture.

TACS Membership Information

If you wish to become a member of TACS please send e-mail to tacs [at] tacsne.org and specify your name and mailing address. We will mail you TACS Membership Application Form soon.   

Individual Membership: Requires annual membership fee of $20 and completion of TACS Membership Form. 

Family Membership: Requires annual membership fee of $40 and completion of TACS Membership Form. Family members who live in that same address must be specified on the Membership Form. 

Student Membership: Annual membership fee is waived for full-time students. However, it requires annual completion of TACS Membership Form.
